CHAPTER 8
We settled into a very happy and settled married life, but after a month or so there was a surprise.
Celia/Howard had been emailing and chatting online with Vanessa/Gary, and a considerable friendship had developed, always using their female names. Vanessa invited us to join them on a cruise down the River Rhine. She said that Howard could change between himself and Celia as he wished. The staff would be warned and would not mind. The company was a subsidiary of Gary's empire in some complicated way, and everything would be paid for.
We agreed it would be churlish to refuse, and as we had some holiday entitlement left were able to arrange things with our employers.
It had been suggested it was easier for my husband to travel to the boat as Howard because of passport checks. We have since been told that it is usually OK to cross-dress when passing borders in Europe, but it can be a problem in some countries.
A limousine took us to the airport, then business class to Amsterdam, followed by another limousine to the boat. Gary was there with Phyllis, and Herman with his wife Eva. They mostly talked in excellent English for my sake.
It was wonderful seeing Holland, Germany, and France from the boat, and taking trips to cities on the way. Obviously, Howard was in his element. Gary really wanted Celia there to give him the confidence to be Vanessa in public sometimes, and this gradually increased so we saw more and more of Vanessa as the trip progressed. After the first day my husband became Celia all the time, including trips into the cities.
Eva told me that crossdressing was not that uncommon in Germany and had not been a problem. She and Herman were actually part of Germany's large naturist community so did not care much about clothes! She was a charming woman. I had once or twice felt I was boring her talking about my job, but it was so rare for someone to seem genuinely interested.
We noticed some other men who dressed on occasion and several same sex couples. Vanessa said that the trip had been advertised as friendly to LGBT. It was hoped that the company could develop some regular holiday cruises including longer ocean ones where people could dress in another gender in safe conditions and company. A sea voyage might include lessons with dressing and cosmetics.
At the end of the trip in Switzerland we were taken to a back room in a restaurant. There Gary explained that his company was investing in the UK as a means of entry to the European market. Herman represented a partner company in Germany. They were looking for a manager who could deal with different countries, particularly France, Belgium and Germany and would like to offer Howard the job. His languages were an obvious asset, and everyone who met us had been impressed by Howard and Celia. It showed an unusual confidence and adaptability. The support I had given as a wife was also noted, and Eva had given a good report. As the company produced medical laboratory technology, they would also like to offer me a senior technical position.
I realised why Eva had been an unusually good listener. She was a psychologist and head of HR in Herman's company. The American, Rod, we met at dinner in London, had the same role in Gary's.

CHAPTER 9
Naturally we accepted and moved to the new company site not far from London. We both felt we had been appointed at levels above what we deserved, and it was a bit hectic at first. Somehow it seemed to relax both of us when Howard changed into Celia. We often adopted opposite actions when we came home. I had to wear smart clothes and makeup at work, so would often take off the makeup and clothes (especially the bra) then just slouch around in slacks and a top. By contrast, Howard would put on careful makeup, nice underwear (with his breasts, of course) a pretty dress or skirt and top (sometimes with stockings and suspenders, as if going out.)
After a day of bossing other people around, Celia was happy to be given simple household chores like a housewife with a lazy husband. I was very quickly trained into the role of lazy husband!
Howard continued to take the pills until he really did start to develop breasts. They are only tiny, hardly there at all, but he says they are nice and sensitive, so nipple sucking is something we can both enjoy both ways. He continued to take just enough to keep in this slightly feminized state.
It became an open secret in the company. Hence employees would greet Celia if they met her on the street, and the local shopkeepers know her. Celia loves high heels and short skirts, but is cautious where she goes and when to wear them.
Whenever Gary visits, he tries to arrange a day in London with us, staying at the same posh hotel. Of course, this means Vanessa and Celia can go to the V & A. There is an awful lot to see there! He told us that his father used to wear a dress to board meetings. As the majority shareholder, no-one objected. He is thinking of at least introducing Vanessa at social occasions. If it happens, I fully expect that Celia will have to be there the first time!
I usually have the day with Phyllis, who is much improved since she became a mother. An actual achievement of her own! Her daughter is lovely. At her last visit she confessed to another cheat. The black student with the enormous cock was actually gay, so he never fucked her! (Apparently, he is often asked to show it to women and is glad to do so.)
Now she has had a child, I sort of want one too. Am I still competing?

CHAPTER 10
That was six years ago. Howard did well, and Celia developed also as his off-duty persona. Things were going fine for a while, but then the debacle of the Brexit vote had occurred. The company share price dropped and it soon became apparent that the business should not stay in the UK, so main manufacturing was to be moved to Germany, by expanding on Herman's main site near Karlsruhe, with additional work being done by a French company near Strasbourg, on the other side of the Rhine.
Howard had the unenviable task of running down what had been a successful company, including the loss of many jobs. A few people moved to either the French or the German sites. He also had to go frequently to the European sites where some of the machinery was being moved and discuss the new arrangements. He would be working for Herman's company, not Gary's, liaising with the USA and the two European manufacturing sites.
Unlike Gary who switched to Vanessa and back, Howard was becoming more and more Celia however he dressed.
Eva had some long conversations with us. It was agreed that the new manager would be Celia, since Howard was so very much into his feminine side. So that was how he dressed visiting the German and French sites.
Sex had become ever more infrequent. We decided to try for a baby before it went forever. I hoped I was not just following Phyllis.
The start of pregnancy was also the end of intercourse, though we still loved each other the same. We had accepted that married life in that sense was over, and she would be travelling around. Eva in her practical German way had bought me a couple of vibrators, saying there was no reason why I should not make use of technology -- it was unremarkable for a woman to get satisfaction in this way. I was hesitant, but said I would consider it when the babies were older and asleep.
Under medical supervision, Howard started proper hormones with predictable effects.
A house with a nice view of Rhine was arranged for us. I moved there and gave birth to twins, who are German citizens. Yes, again I had beaten Phyllis, though not intentionally. My German language was improving.
Howard had his testicles removed. Celia's femininity did not extend to wanting sex as a woman, so there were no other modifications. Her penis seems to have shrunk and is easy enough to hide. She has the beginnings of breasts and her hips and bum seem rounder from the hormones
It was then that the pandemic occurred. As we observed with horror what was going on in the UK, I was glad we were in Germany. Of course, the company was well versed in medical matters, and prompt action was taken to protect the workforce both at the factories and in accommodation. We were considered an essential business and actually took on more staff to meet demand from hospitals and laboratories. We even had to expand a factory to support vaccine production, when this began.
They say it is an ill wind. Celia's management skills could be used without actually visiting the factories so she spent less time out, and eventually was working full-time from our home. I actually went back to work part-time giving technical advice online.
But this meant she was actually able to share in motherhood, which she adored. Of course, I am the only one who breastfeeds, but we often lie side by side, cuddling our babies or with them sleeping on our chests. Sometimes Celia gets a sleepy suck on her nipple. If we get onto bottle feeding and with solid food, she will certainly take part.
With loving them together, there came back some of the loving feelings of our early marriage before we were so busy, and we did something we had never done before. Celia gave me oral sex. Except it is wrong to just call it sex. It was lovemaking. We both agreed it was better than fucking. Celia claims she enjoys it more than me, and I'm the one that gets orgasms!
I miss Howard a bit, though I know Celia is the same person and we love each other. She is happy as a woman at work and at home, and loves working in three languages. I had certainly noticed that there were men who were interested in her, and I wonder if she really will be without sex for ever. When things are back to normal and she is travelling there will be opportunities. I am not sure if I would be sorry or pleased if something happened.
I didn't really mean to do this, but I was completely successful in feminizing my husband, and she is totally happy as Celia. Or maybe Celia was there all along, and only needed an excuse to come out. The green dress is still her favourite.
And every so often she says "Thank you for making me a woman."
